A savoury crêpe recipe made using gram flour, which is naturally gluten-free (always check the labels). I filled mine with wild garlic pesto, roasted mushrooms & sautéed spinach, but the choice is yours!



Gram/Chickpea Flour • 175 g
Water • 310 ml
Dried Oregano • 1/2 tsp
Salt • 1 pinch




In a blender, blend all of the ingredients on high until liquidy consistency with no lumps


Leave to set for 30 minutes (can prepare your filling/topping during this time)


Heat a frying pan on medium with a drop of oil. Fill a ladle with the batter and pour into the pan. Quickly make circular movements with the pan to form the crêpe into a circle.


Allow the crêpe to cook until edges start to crisp (around 2 minutes), use a spatula to flip the crêpe and cook for a further 2 minutes on the other side. Remove from the pan, set aside and repeat the process for the remaining batter.
